ZooTexture ( Oleg Kulik)

Vendredi 24 octobre 2008, des policiers en civil sont intervenus à la Foire internationale d'art contemporain pour décrocher des photographies de l'artiste russe Oleg Kulik, jugées pornographiques ou zoophiles.

Alerté par des agents des douanes, le 22 octobre, le parquet de Paris a saisi le Groupe Recherche et Investigation du huitième arrondissement pour décrocher du stand de la galerie moscovite XL ces clichés pris à la fin des années 1990... Pour justifier ce retrait, le parquet s'appuie sur l'article 227-24 du Code pénal relatif à la diffusion d'images à caractère violent ou pornographique ou contraires à la dignité humaine et susceptibles d'être vues par des mineurs.

Friday 24 October 2008, plainclothes police intervened at the International Contemporary Art Fair to get photographs of the Russian artist Oleg Kulik, deemed pornographic or zoophiles.

Alerted by customs officers on 22 October, the Paris prosecutors appealed the Group Research and Investigation of the eighth arrondissement to detach from the stand of the Moscow gallery XL these photos taken in the late 1990s ... To justify this withdrawal, the prosecution based on Article 227-24 of the Penal Code concerning the dissemination of images of a violent or pornographic or contrary to human dignity and can be viewed by minors .
